How did I miss this?

Love the rims Raj, will undoubtedly be a nightmare to keep clean but hey, who cares when they look that good, get the Billbury wax out :-))

As for the brakes, Hell brother, they are awesome.

A totally impressive mod once again.

What's next?

lol cheers dude, was thinking I should of added this to my build thread.

Wheels actually aren't that bad tbh and they are actually easier to clean than the Alpina's.

As for what's next....hmmmm....gas to just enjoy it as is for the time being...lol

They look awesome ! What are they off originally if you need so big a spacers front & back ?
Breaks look wicked was it a big job to sort them ? Should be standard on all E53s .
We'll done !

Raj,
MK 6 spokes are the best wheels ever. I've had them on my E34 and E39 and have been looking for some to go on the X5 but I couldn't fathom the right offset and spacer combination.

Very, very nice.

I just need to get my X5 diff sorted but it looks like I'm still gonna be waiting on the delivery date in December. Still the 730 ld isn't bad cos it's free!

Cheers.

They are for the X5 so no problems there. Only reason for the spacers is due to the alloys now running. As they have such a dish on both front and back they required the spacers. Tbh I needed 10mm spacers up front to clear the standard brakes too. Just the design of the wheel.

Thanks buddy.

I do love the MK's. Always have but was a little unsure if I could pull them off BUT very glad with them.

Mine are et35 all round and the spacers are 20mm front with 30mm rear. I might consider 25mm up front to give just a touch more clearance so the 20mm spacers will need a new home if you are interested?

Not good with the delay on the diff but as you say great to have a 730ld for that length of time with no cost LOL.

It's all good. I knew your feelings regarding the Alpina's so knew any wheel after that you probably wouldn't like.

My old 540 had 17x10 on the back 17x8 on the front. I loved this car and wanted to do the same to the X5 but you've beaten me to it.

Brakes look good in a copy cat Porsche way being red calipers

For those in the know with Porsche you get :-
Std base car no colour
An S is red
Ceramics is yellow

And then I saw my first hybrid panamera plugged in with all the g whizzs in London which get the bright green calipers.

Was thinking orange to start with. Nice Indian colour lol

Most BBK kits tend to be Red as standard colour.
