Re: Cheap Angel Eyes
Wife drove off in the car tonight so I had another look. Lighting was better, wasn't peeing down with rain.
Massive improvement and a total no-brainer for £12+P&P. Recommended.

These are the bulbs http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271133011795? ... 1497.l2649
Yes, I just swapped the bulbs but the difference is amazing. tbh I'm not sure why people are charging so much for them, am I missing something?

Just looked at the link. I have an e70 2008 3.0sd. Do you know if they would fit my car. Is your car an e70 or an LCI ??

Do you have HID type or conventional headlights?

Re: Cheap Angel Eyes
'Xenon' HIDs it is then. I bought a pair of MTEC Blue bulbs for about £15 and they are the same white colour, much brighter than LED and much cheaper.
These are they. You do need the higher colour temp from this version and not the 4350K also available as those do still look yellow.

That's what I have just ordered.
What do you mean re the higher colour temp? When I ordered I was not given an option to choose.

Re: Cheap Angel Eyes
There are a couple of different MTEC bulbs and different colour temps on the box. They do a 4,300K one which it too 'yellow'.
The higher 'temp' version should give you this........(on my X6 in bright sunlight)

Re: Cheap Angel Eyes
I see what you mean. The ones I ordered using the link posted are 4700 I think. They arrived this morning, just fitted them this afternoon. They aren't that bright to be honest, but will do the job for £13 ! Might upgrade them at a later date.
Do you have a link to the higher temp ones or some more details. Where did you get them from and how much are they, model number etc maybe and I'll see if I can find some. Might return mine as not that impressed to be honest.
