I am in agreement there.  i was going to have hte performance kit fitted but feel it would be too much now.  So I am just going to have the exhaust tips done.

Peter, do you know how much is it for the tips, fully fitted? PM if you'd rather.

I had the 50i tip kit fitted to my old 40d and it was around 450 quid plus about 130 to spray/fit it IIRC.  I have a tame bodyshop in Stockport which I have used for over 15 years, and they fitted mine (you need to cut the rear bumper and colour code the new exhaust surrounds so it's not a DIY job) - let me know if you want the guy's details.  Best bit is they've done it before ;-)

ps.  If you 'join' (its free) BMWLand forum they have a dealer there offering discounts for members that's where I bought mine from (sorry mods!)

Cheers snipez! I'll think about it but I feel it's something that will get done at some point in the near future. The guys contact details would be great please. :)

Had the pleasure of meeting Peter (and the X6) today.  It was a fairly rushed affair, having spotted him in the school car park just as I'd dropped my kids off (same school).  Driving out, mad rush, saw the car!  Had to stop and say hello so knocked on his window.  Probably didn't know what hit him!  I knew it was him but he had no idea what this mad bloke was doing knocking on his window!

Anyway, nice meting you Peter and I can confirm to all that the car looks ace in the flesh (really like the seats).

:)

No need to join, just go on to the forum to get the details and call.  Start off by telling them that you got their number from the forum,  no more questions and discount applied.  ;).
