Also arse about face on the iPhone. Must be another of those free added value Apple 'features'!!

Also realise I maybe didn't answer your earlier Q about hardwired cameras.  Yes, the front is hardwired to rear of lighter socket and rear one will use a piggyback in the fusebox I reckon (the Indy has an auto-electrician on staff so whatever he suggests will sit fine by me).

Is that an Aussie PC?  :)) not sure why I'm seeing them upside down on the iPad?

I thought it was just me......perhaps it's been 'Red Shifted'.  My iPad has them the right way up today.  Weird!!

The X6 electronics have systems which 'tell tales' on owners too.  Mine recorded and told BMW that I had a USB device plugged in to the glovebox and how much power it was drawing.....sneaky bl@@dy car!!  I had to go and find the spec for USB power and prove it was drawing less.  I think the spec is 5V @ 300mA, and my unit was drawing 110mA.  But it still told tales......... :'(

Cheers snipez, I would be interested in pics once complete including where the back up battery ends up.

Yeah no worries.  The battery backup just plugs inline (or will do on my install anyway).

Both front and rear wiring passes will have allowance made for the eventual arrival of said T Power C units (false economy not to really).

Oh and I just decided on spur of moment to venture out in the pitch black to remove my front skidplate for fitting of CF sheet.  Should be a right laugh given my current half soused state LMAO.  Pics tomorrow morning once the detailer has gine and I can refit the skidplate (amazed I got it off in one piece as it has a fair few mighty catches LOL)
