He still has a ZX81 too (allegedly).......and as he said elsewhere......'waste not, want not'.
I thought that car carrier had a load of Volvos on board anyway. Really 'tight' if stooping to putting Ford parts on an Audi.. >:D

6,000 miles makes me feel confident. That and knowing you didn't programme the Air Traffic System.... >:D

My car arrived at the dealer's storage site today. PDI and detailing Tues/Weds and hopefully reg will be transferred at same time; so could be knocking around in her by the end of the week
Apparently I am the first owner round here as well; though all my affluent mates will no doubt follow me [not] LMAO

Picked up the car today. Too late in day for my detailer guy who was round for the usual fortnightly cleans, so the dealer got my 40d in a nice clean state and I got the post PDI untouched 50d! Spotted misaligned bonnet edge, down to catch adjustment which they did on the spot but now my PDC is working, and so is the volume control in settings menu, but the two will not work together (ie. detects objects but won't make a bleeping noise [literally!!])
So first visit to the service desk is first thing tomorrow morning. Aside from that have had a short couple of spins, keeping revs down, and one very short squirt. Nice sound from exhausts from inside cockpit; still the diesel rattle at low rpm but a nice growl half way up rev range. Should sound even better when on full chat (ie. tomorrow LOLOL).
Pics follow. Have already made some subtle cosmetic changes and spoilers due to be fitted next week after the initial full car detail takes place. Will be changing to winter wheels/rubber soon as well.

Just got to sort a couple of things in the light first. Undecided on whether to change the front grilles for the black BMW performance ones for instance.....
