Thinking about it I would also say my BMW X5 for owning definitely worth buying.
But thinking about it i would also say my brother in law BMW M5 i drove with the V10 engine, the noise on downshift was glorious, but it's also just an effortless way to loose your licence :drive:
Will just have to save hard.
Car you enjoyed owning the most.

Thinking about this I have to say the one I miss the most is my A registered Escort XR3i in white, absolutely loved it, got married, had kids and bought a 1.6 Cavalier in Gold, what a comedown! More recently though before the X I had 3 Discoveries in succession, the best one and one I miss the most was an 04 ES Premium in Black, I loved it that much, I'm probably changing to a Range Rover in the next 6 months, hope you'll all still talk to me

I've had a fair few but probably worth stating the must fun cars were the cheap ones...as in not panicking about door dints or expensive computers etc
My first car was a mk3 Cortina and to a certain extent it was bullet proof. OK it wasn't fast but WISHBONE front suspension and coil rears. I knocked another car into the next century with the corner of the front wing and it came away with a fingernail chip in the paint. The sunbeam it hit was near destroyed. My suspension never felt a thing...no mamby pamby Mcpherson struts.
I miss my Mk1 facelft GT Capri too. Sadly Mcpeherson struts and cart horse rear but dose of Escort rally parts made it go very well (that was until 2nd gear fell apart being tortured beyond 65 mph)

My bmw e30s of the past, hence why I have one now! Everyone thinks I'm crazy for loving a 25 year old car so much over the x5 but the e30s are just so small and pure compared to any modern bmws, everything is as it should be and simple to maintain and fix, no electronic wizardry just pure simple top down fun in the sun

I don't think you're crazy.........but them I'm no one so not included in 'everyone'......before anyone else gets there
Our next door neighbour has just had to change their Citroen because the cam belt snapped and being a 16V engine it was curtains! Your E30s are probably all 8V and chain drive. Far less risk...

Mine is a toss up between my old Seat Leon Cupra R ( the old shape not the current one) and my old E46 330diesel. Both so different to drive but fun in their own ways.
;D

You'll be siding with TT folks next - that Cupra R was a TT engine for less money wasn't it?

Nope - like you said same quality for less - why would I be stupid enough to pay extra for a badge and an Audi badge at that! :pokey:
