Guessed as much also someones already nicked the nice Chrome window trim from his car, it'll be the huge bonnet grilles that go next

Correct. My BMW Remote App will work though.

You're only missing Farcebook, Twatter and internet radio. We've got it on the Mini but don't use it as it uses your monthly data allowance.

It would to connect to the iPhone though via the cable via the BMW app. I thought you could get your email on the screen but have not managed it.

Only supported on Blackberry devices at present. Unless it's changed in the last 12 months that is..

Probably another victim of the same folks who said that having a Combox would be the end of all your troubles as additional functions would simply be a firmware upgrade! Three versions of the Combox later....none of which are compatible.....and no firmware upgrades. No wonder people are using the retrofit team to get the things BMW say are 'impossible to retrofit' put in.

I don't think it's changed. I took delivery of my E70 40d last September and it only displays emails on my work Blackberry Curve. My personal iPhone is more limited and doesn't support email. Seems a bit strange as Blackberry's are pretty slow on adding functionality.
