It needs Intravee software. If you regiter your Intravee you'll get access to the software library.

Can anyone (Sanj) point me in the direction of the install thread? The one that shows the underside of the rear seat bench, im hoping it shows how to run cables into the armrest.

You have no choice - in the boot next to the CD-Changer loom (they're not very long).

What's the best way to fix it in place? I've got a little bit of length to play with, I made a splitter cable so I can plug my navcoder in as and when required without taking the cd player out every time

Right..... It's 90% installed, I've cable tied the intravee in place above the nav DVD with the serial port on view so its accessible for upgrades. Cables routed to rear seat and KCA-420i under seat. I've taken rear footwell lights and door sills off but can't lift carpet enough to get under the centre console, I assume it's better to remove centre console completely?
If that's the case how do I get it out?
Also I think someone said take rear bolts out of seats, is that for both sides and is it safe to do with the battery connected? Dont want to set seatbelt tensioners or any air bags off.
I have the plastic trim off under the arm rest ready so just need to route the cable under the carpet.

OK - for me I guess? No need to remove console - just make it lose enough to lift and put wire through.

1. Rear bench seat up
2. Rear footwell light lens and holder out
3. Rear sill out
4. Sides to centre console out - on poppers. Front half have crew under front footwells then poppers all the way. Just pull em.
5. Reveals screw up front either side and also at the rear
6. Lift gaiter and surround to gear knob
7. Hands under hazard switch and push up and out
8. Remove screw under it (be careful not to lose it when removing)
9. Under plastic tray in armrest there are 2 more screws - remove
10. You should be able to lift the centre console enough to get carpet up and feed cable (use a coat hanger or equivalent)

DO NOT wrench the console too high - you still have all the wiring connectors in place.

Ok will have to wait till tomorrow now. What's the best way to get the other end of the cable through the oem armrest strut or is there a better/easier way to get the cable into the cover without being seenImage

That's a mega feed to put through since you have the standard Apple charging head on there.

You're on your own now! :D

Don't forget the pics!
