[quote=""Mother""]Got mine off ebay.... right and left for £14.00 delivered, guy at the garage couldnt believe how much i paid for them.....if they dont last long i will just get better ones and fit them myself as its just 2 nuts, i only got him to fit them as i was replacing both driveshafts and cvs and didnt fancy doing it all myself.....they seemed decent quality tbh.....i will post if any problems.....car drives smooth as now.

Thanks for the info
I take it your talking about the ball joints themselves and not the complete arms ?
The bushes had gone in my link arms hence me needing the whole part..my ball joints were ok though i should have probably replaced them aswell while everything was apart
I still have a little wheel wobble under braking so will replace the drop links in due course.

I don't, but i think there is a partial retest fee instead of a full one if re done within 10 days.

Well done there Mitch
Great satisfaction when you fix it yourself and it passes
Spent a few hours fixing the N/S RTAB on the E46 myself the other night. Bush was £7.88 delivered from fleabay and was a FEBI item. Did you get prices etc for your parts yet?
No go celebrate mate

That's a relief, well done for sorting it - I'm always a tad worried at MOT time with my aging fleet!!! That said, our ancient Merc A-class flew through her MOT yesterday without even an advisory, amazing considering she just gets minimum attention. Wish the same could be said of the X
