Ok, thanks to Sanj sending me the files I now have the "extras" working too, the autofold mirrors on lock/unlock and the doors auto-unlock on selecting park are superb, should of been that way as standard IMO.

The PDC display is superb, apart from anything else my system decided to throw up the long beep/flashing light sensor error yesterday and I couldn't work out which sensor was dead, however the intravee means I know it's the front passenger inboard sensor as it isn't giving any distance data.

Got mine all cabled into the front now too :D Didn't have to cut a hole in the compartment as one of the cupholder springy bits was missing and the plug just fit through. Now the ipod sits nicely tucked away under the strange spanner shaped tray.

Also got the updated software from Sanj (cheers mate) so that's my next job once I get a serial to usb converter.

Mines in the large storage bin for now, waiting for the iPhone 5 to make an appearance before I finish the mounting.

I couldn't find my old adaptor, but the one I got off eBay, item number 270491516064 worked fine. On my netbook running Windows 7 it assigned itself to Com 4 which is fine.

Yep, that's what I've heard too. Got a trip to Germany on the 21st, hoping to have the phone, and therefore the mounting, finished by then.

I've been checking out the rumours each day now for the 5 and can't wait to swap it for my antique 3G. It's so slow now it painful to use now matter how many factory resets it's had :-(

A friend of mine is the manager of the local Apple store, and as of Friday just gone, apple had not released an official iPhone 5 release date as they keep changing it.

Well they say the 4th is the announcement but we will see. Apple have been reported to tell their staff that they can't gave AL in part of October :-)
