One thing to mention re insurance quotes.........

Of my top 5 best prices & when viewing/calling for more details many did not give cover to drive other cars 3rds party. This used to be standard on fully comp but not any more so folk should check if wanting to briefly drive a friend or relatives car on are occasion. Also many did not offer protrected no claims. Excesses varied widely too.

Ended up going with origianla insurer after a haggle to bring it within £80 of lowest quote as none close gave same cover.

I used con fused dot com as I find the singing fat bloke very annoying !

Well the dreaded renewal wasn't as bad as I thought it might be after reading this thread...

27 years old, 4.8IS, 9 years NCB...

£604 for the year fully comp with the 25 year old missus on the policy. Protectedt NCB and also able to drive other cars 3rd party.

Pretty happy with that... it was with Bell again this year.

Thats excellent, i am 38,10 years NCB & 35 year old missus named & costs me £750.

Yeah, I was pleased with it - so much so I couldn't wait to give my card details before they changed their minds
