You need a specific model number type, I'll try looking at mine tomorrow. No other will get the media player software to work.

OK, Jig was kind enough to send me the following info:

All consoles made before mid 2008 will work, the new SLIMSCPH-9xxxxx models with a date code of 8C and a BIOS v230 will not. All models after this verisom will not work. We have model type 7xxxx and that seems to be fine. Before buying, always ask the seller the model type.

Have remotes x2 & power socket
Now just need ps2, IR extender, software and screens

Software is no problem - when you get the PS2 make sure it comes with the memory card (need it to put the software on to). Don't forget the hard drive!

And screens!!! You don't have them yet???? We can still get the whole lot working on the front screen - think about TV-in-Motion.

IR is standard stuff.

As said before, if you can make it to the meet, I/We can help...

The car had screens before but the owner before took them out. He also took the rear shelf. I've seen 2 new screens for 120 plus postage. Will prob get them.

Only thing I missed when checking the x was passenger seat does not work.

Ordered ps2 and USB hdd. Waiting for it all to arrive. Still need IR extender. Where do I get it from?

The one I found is currently not on eBay. I would suggest contacting pewters as he has IR includes a power up button too that would do the job real nice.

Make sure the remote you bought has the green power button in the top right.

So far I have ordered 2 veba av70hr screens for £129 a ps2 inc mem card and remote w green button £45 a power converter 12.50 and picking up my usb hdd at the w/e so now I have ordered everything except the ir extender.

Anyone know where I can get some headrests with hollow risers that will fit a 7" screen. They have arrived and are too large for the headrest, also risers are solid.

Very frustrated.
