Digging up an old thread

Has anyone else got mudflaps on a m sport ?

Looking at a car this week with them on
Didn't realise the cost and labour time to fit
These aren't on the vin bmw spec check so wander if these are fitted afterwards?

I'm worried these are fitted with bumper cut now, how do I tell?
The car in question with them on seems like it doesn't fit flush?

Also anyone body coloured match them?

Dealer fitted option.  Not sure if they can be fitted to an M Sport?  Certainly some versions of trim cannot have them due to the cutting required.

Certainly doesn't look right.  All the dealer fitted ones I have had have been spot on (Mini/E53/X6).

I'll ask the owner whether these are dealer fitment items

If these are fitted correctly what should it look like?
Does the bumper have to be cut?

Can these be taken off easily, think if they fitted better and was colour coded would look better

Would it be easy to unbolt these and check whether they have been fitted with modifications and see how much paint damage might be caused from it rubbing against the rear bumper?
