On some of the other threads I found, it does seem that a low voltage can also cause this issue. Hopefully it's just that.

Funny i was only thinking of your thread today as I was driving down the motorway and my dash lit up like a Christmas tree [emoji15][emoji15][emoji15][emoji15][emoji15]
I stopped for fuel and when I turned the ignition back on it all cleared. I checked the battery voltage when I got home and it was 12.5 volts. The car has been stood for a week, as the wife has been using the E93 convertible all week due to the sun being out. It usually does short trips and can stand for days without being used.
I try to trickle charge my cars every 3/4 weeks to keep the battery topped up, but have neglected that of late.
I've had the charger on it for a few hours and the chargers green light has come on.
I plan to get my Carley on it tomorrow so hopefully nothing expensive.
The lights didn't reappear on the 20 mile trip home [emoji3]

Did this issue get fixed? What turned out to be the solution?

Good good. I've been trying to help some other people with similar issues and an E70 X5 owner had the same lights and was all down to battery voltage. Glad it's all sorted though.
Been anywhere nice?

Can't believe how we've taken to caravaning, North Yorkshire is our favourite, but been to Scotland, and Norwich recently too.
Everywhere we have stayed we've had brill weather ( apart from 1 day in Norwich )
The X3 pulls like a train

When you've got the car then caravaning does make sense.
It's a beast of a car actually. Soo much torque.
Where do you call home then? Don't know much about North Yorkshire but I want to take a trip there next year.

Haha I'm a Lancashire Lad, were unblessed with the weather. North Yorkshire will appeal to you if you like a good humoured village culture with rolling green fields and limestone filled scenery.
I've travelled around a lot with my job as a service engineer, and always said the one place I'd like to retire too was North Yorkshire. Maybe not every bodies bag, but suits me and the wife
