There's a catalytic converter, but definitely no DPF - although you could specify one and BMW do now offer one as a retrofit.

i bet they sell well.......................

That's the kit I got too...
But it will NOT be a 5 minute job, as a tonnage of junk has to be removed to access the manifold.

-------------------------------------------
right guys i need your help again...........
i have the manifold that came from ebay, it includes 3 manifold to head-gaskets, 1 manifold to turbo gasket,3 bolts, 12 x stud and nut

this is the kit
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200984412537? ... EBIDX%3AIT
i have rang my local garage who i have always used and she told me i need a manifold to dpf gasket aswell.
she originally rang bmw to get prices on parts for me and thats what they told her i needed.
i thought as its a 2004 model that i wouldnt have a dpf?
any ideas?

update time.....

garage just called me to say my car is ready.

new manifold
new gaskets
new studs etc
new air filter
new pollen filter

manifold/gaskets/studs were £85 off ebay

air and pollen filter were around £30

total cost from garage was £just over £200 for labour inc vat so all in all not too bad.

:)

Yeah plus they would probably not like to fit a non OEM part aswell.

The job took just over 4 hours in total

Thx buddy. The car seemed to have lost power, almost as if it had developed flat spot so I'm hoping that it was all relative to the cracked manifold.

Pick it up 2moro..........me happy
