Nice, nice! Good all round car I'd think? Plenty of space and a low boot for the bunnies to jump in and out of.

Was this a company car or new to the home fleet buddy (think you did mention but old age and al that). Wait was it a replacement for the mini?

Additional to the fleet - albeit on PCP.  E46 getting miles on it and we (she!) wants to keep it.  So it will go in the store again and for a while she'll run the X6 to move 'junior' about and I'll commute in this one.

Once she starts Contracting (another victim of the IT Industry downsizing as of this week) then she'll either run something smaller (may be even a Leaf) to the station, or something other than an oversize Scalextric for longer runs.  It won't be a BMW though.

when you do look at parting ways with the e46 please give me first refusal, whenever it may be.

Took delivery at 11:00 today......6 miles on the clock at delivery 









So far very impressed.  It's well put together, very quiet inside, has more toys than I understand, huge load lugging capacity, leg room is the largest I have ever seen in a 'normal' car.  Very good sound system, supports Apple, Andoid & Microsoft phones out of the box - no expensive options such as BMW have been known to require!  All in all it's a lot of car for not a huge amount of money.  For petrolheads there's a 280PS version too.

And that colour has just been discontinued so I have a rare one (for a change).  Everyone wants 'Moon White' or 'Steel Grey'.

I didn't ask for any.  It has certainly been waxed.  The Dealer offers 'Lifeshine' but I declined it......unless they did it for free anyway.

The paint job is much better than was on my X6 5 years ago.  That car had to be part resprayed (bonnet) and completely polished immediately after delivery.  All sorts of cr@p in the paint and several bad defects.

Congrats Richard. Good looking car and certainly seems a nice place to spend the commute.
