Together with a/c settings, key specific settings, seats etc etc..... >:(

Some may work but a lot won't and have to be reset.  My radio was OK though - DAB - though why that should make a difference I cannot tell.

Ok, car back.

Radio was fine (DAB still rubbish so no change there  :)) . Key memory gone (and why do they have to change all the seat and mirror settings for a software update????

Just got mine back at 4:00 after dropping it off at 8:30 at Cooper Teesside this morning.  Climate, seat settings and all journey computer (consumption, av speed etc) wiped but radio and preset buttons all as before.  No charge, free visual check and car washed and vacuumed.

Booked mine in for Friday next week, said it should only take 1 - 2 hours... ::)

Mine.s back.
Security update done, tailgate rattle sorted and handbrake operation checked.

No loss of settings , nothing appears to have changed and all doen in a day.

Went to have wheels replaced under warranty asked if I'll wait for software update plugged in to bmw servers 1/2 hour later all done all I  need to is cancel appointment with my other dealer!

What a result !! are u still in the balance of 3yr manufacturers warranty...i cant see bmw replacing my alloys due to corrosion when it is 4yrs old

Yes still in warranty very slight corrosion but its still corrosion in my books didnt really need to fight to get authorised.

Mine is booked into BMW in Hereford Next Wednesday.

They want it all day, its amazing as the car has had every service with them! and hasn't had either the security enhancement  or drive shaft recall done :o
