I use one of those for my bikes seems similar to the hatchbag but far more cost effective, item is really good quality and covers the whole boot upto headrests also works with seats down. The flap at the rear for that covers the tailgate is pretty handy as well. We felt it ticked all the boxes for us as we just wanted to cover boot completely which the BMW option does not offer.

I got a towequip one with the rubber non slid centre. It fits is as good as the BMW one. I had a few issues with towequip, the first on did not arrive and then they suggested I ask people on my street if they recieved it!! The DHL driver couldn't remember where he delivered it and never got a signature, hmmm. A month later I got a replacement item.

If I was sure I'd be putting the bike/s in the back I'd buy it but I'm probably going to get a towbar and townar mounted bike rack but am not certain yet. Whilst one of these would be great protection if the bikes were in the back, the hassle of washing it out all the time after muddy rides (which most are in the UK) puts me off and is making me lean more towards the towbar option.

Hi,
These boot liners are all well and good, if you have a bike or the odd muddy boot. Personaly i have the BMW liner.
However if you have a muddy dog , and I have, It soesnt stop the sides or the back of the seats getting covered in mud.
Therefore I find them pretty useless.
If anyone has a good boot liner that will protect the entire boot that actually fits properly I have an interest. I bought one of e-bay, but the sides dont stay up well and one of the seams has already ripped.

I have this kind of thing
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-X5-Boot-Liner ... 2a0d782717

But want something that fits properly.

Regards

Nat.

Hi Nat, the Hatchbag that I mentioned above is the answer to your problems, check out their website and if you have either an E53 x5 or an X3 I could sell you one. I had the dirtiest Spaniel on earth after forest walks and when I took out the Hatchbags to sell the cars the carpet behind was immaculate.
