If you're lookin for a movie to please both the wife/gf and yourselves, try John Wick. It has Keanu Reeves as an ex-hitman, fast cars, lots of guns, a leather-clad lady assassin, a cute puppy and a great soundtrack.

To be warned though Lee, the doggy doesn't make it
. John W comes out of retirement to hunt down the men who killed the puppy his late wife gave him, and stole his '69 Mustang. Hard to believe Mr Reeves in in his 50's he's still got his mojo.
Best film seen in ages...might have to wait a while for DVD or there are other ways. PM if you want details.

just had a quick google and I didn't realise what a highly anticipated film it is, I will look forward to it and not only are you an expert in all things exciting you also have a great eye for a good film.
