Glad all sorted..............Sincere apologies if my slightly drawn out research allowing for unlikely worst scenario may have caused undue concern.

Always handy keep in with a local all make indy for times you need something sorting on the car at shoret notice & at a reasonable price.

As well as main dealers I use & couple of bmw independents, occcasionally a couple of all make independents as well as having various other contacts.

Instead of charm I find arriving with foodstuffs, making the tea or even rolling up my sleeves can help keep the bills user friendly.

Mmmm curry I'll be there. Actually I know what the local garage is like and they didn't get their name by ripping people off so I took a large box of celebration chocolates. Last time I gave them alcohol. You're right it always helps! Lol
