Dunno...the facelift does (on certain dates) become subject to different tax regimes but I thought (?) the engine was essentially the same...albeit with a few more HP

Facelift EGRs have a slightly different design, I had a newer type EGR Delete sent in error! The end where the hose goes has a raised angled flange on.

only probs is with these blank kits is the egr pipe is connected to the blank off and causes a bit of back pressure and eventually blows the pipe in half. you can get a blank off to attatch to the manifold but requires about 45minutes of work to fit as you have to remove a few bolts and move the turbo pipe out of the way to get good access to the bolts on the manifold. I had a very fumey engine bay after fitting the egr delete then about two months later floored it one day and bang popped the egr pipe in two where the bulbous piece is about 6 inches from the egr blank off is.

The egr blanker plate is about £7 from Flea-bay & I bought an EGR removal pipe kit part form Flea-Bay also...
You need to shove a bolt of plug the vacuum pipe that goes to the egr valve too & tie it too a bit of loom or some thing.
I got a vleaner fuel burn & a lot less smoke as a result & a fee more mpg's on a long run.
Its a worth while job & provided you do an oil change before MOT, you will have faultless emissions..
Do it... it all helps the running of the vehicle, and you will NOT get any errors on the instrument cluster either.

My good man ; if you look a few posts back in this thread you'll see that I'm way ahead of you... And I don't need to worry about things like MOT in my neck of the woods! (Whatever Mot is!)

Same as the fitness warrant for cars as issued in NZ. You don't have such a thing in Oz.
