Had all of our doors replaced in the Superstorm all twisted , I actually measured the frames which were offset by nearly 5mm causing the doors to twist , Elddis sent the doors I squared up the frames problem solved . We had a Bailey before this was in a different class .
Best going for a twin axle they tow better , try keeping it narrow as possible as most campsites are down small lanes , next one will be either a fifth wheeler or camper van . On a site 2 weeks ago 2 had slide outs one was a fifth wheeler other a massive truck I mean campervan ! owner said that it averaged 7 mpg on a good run so he kept it 5 miles from his house on the campsite couldnt afford to go away in it , he would have been better of buying a second home .
Best advise review everything , buy second hand / nearly new , the first one wont have the layout that you want so buy cheap & spend your money second time round on what you want !
Regards the motor mover mine is a single axle model turns on a sixpence , have seen 4 axle ones wont even move the caravans as they require too much juice , need to spend 2k upwards for a good one make sure you see it demonstrated as some wont pull the top off a rice pudding , try them on a kerb .

I had looked at hobby before getting the bailey, but wasn't prepared to take a chance with the insurance being void as the ones we liked where over the 7m mark.  Also found it hard to get them specced with the oven.  It seems the Germans don't do a lot of cooking in their vans so don't get too worked up about all the bells and whistles in the kitchen.

Do you use it all year round?

More or less probable another long weekend away then start again in March not had an issue with ovens last one had a small oven but the new one has a full size with grill

The only mods you have to do is get a truma water heater fitted and a battery charger and box as they don't come with a very good water heater or a 12 volt battery system
