Def get it mapped , you'll be stunned how quick it'll hit 80mph, I even stayed with a Mercedes SL55amg in mine and he only crept away over 80 :o

Clearly he wasn't trying !

Can't believe I'm agreeing with 535dboy twice in a row, but I am.....

I knew we would bond eventually

Does this mean we are best of buddies now?  I think so.......I'll be round shortly to borrow the lotus.  ;)

Don

you are welcome but I've just had a recall on it from Lotus

Apparently some oil could leak out and catch fire and I might die
If that doesn't happen, oil my leak on tyres, I crash, I might die

Failing that, while I drive it to dealer my brakes may fail /(because they need changing) so I might die

I kid you not with the first two, they mention fatality in the letter
[/quote]

In which case I'd get them to come and collect it !

Took the X5 to my mates garage today to get a new number plate light bulb. Took 2 minutes didn't charge me anything.

£2k seems to be about average - even if bl@@dy annoying!

There are a few on here who have cars with the suspension delete and have said it gives a much more comfortable ride on runflats.

Thank god it has m sport suspension deletion then.
I love the width of the rear tyres it looks like a monster from the back.
One thing which is abit of a pain with the car is that the ipod is connected via Aux. So you have to change the track with the ipod. Is there another way of doing this ?

Bluetooth streaming.  Assuming it's been fitted as an option?

You should find it in the Phone Section with the option to pair bluetooth devices.  There is a music symbol there.

Check for Bluetooth Audio under the CD/Ent button on the iDrive and external devices options.

You obviously need an iPod with bluetooth too.  I know many do have it though.

It doesn't have it.
The wife has copied and pasted her songs from itunes onto a USB and when the USB is in the car it will show the name of the songs and you can move them on with the steering wheel.

There is no protection to the rear wheel arches. Does anybody know of anywhere in the Manchester area that will fit some protective film to protect them from stone chippings ?
Thanks

The dealer told me that the wheels had been refurbed before it was put on sale. Do you think that the wheels will corrode again ?
Cheers

It's possible.  It will depend upon what conditions they are subjected to and how well they were refurbed.  If you use non-acidic cleaners, and a wheel sealant that should help.

Is it a problem with all diamond cuts ? I never had a problem with the ones on my Audi ?
I use non-acidic cleaners and wheel sealant yes.
