Thank you, yes, I really do. I want to get a remap to give it a bit more power.
Saw a black M X6 today I couldn't believe the big hump in the front. Meaner than mine  :)

Really like those. One of the nursery mums has one, our cars dwarf the others in the car park.

Took the roof box off and the Dashcam out as it's decided to fail!  Other than that it's been a case of keeping our little man out of mischief - and I don't mean 535dboy.... :P

I've normally got the front camera mounted to the right of the rear view mirror.  Not yet found a suitable rear mounted version.

I would rather it be next to the rear view mirror but not sure what to about the cable or how to fix it out of the way.

Well with me having once fitted Comms in Police vehicles, that was simple.

If you are using the 12V socket then you can gently feed wire under the headlining by gently pushing it in there and then do the same behind the edge of the screen and then into the crease at the edge of the dash.  Remove the panel above the pedals and feed it above across to the centre console and put the panel back (it's a couple of fixings only) and there you go.

For permanent wiring there is a switched 12V connector behind the right side tunnel trim that dealers use to power items such as cameras.  Two screws and a clip and it's visible,  wire in and there you go.

BMW are now also doing a full front rear dashcam system too.

Details of the BMW System here:  Realoem Parts.

If you get stuck I can assist....and I'll try not to break the car either...as long as it's not raining!
