Why are they so keen on PCP deals only and not cash?

On the Audi I bought, they offered 2 services, £1k discount (on top of negotiation) and 2 year warranty if you bought on finance, nothing on cash.

So I bought on finance, paid 2 months and paid it off. They did not mind.

Going down this route at the moment on an A6. Audi are doing a £4500 deposit contribution and £2500 dealer contribution so £7k deposit if i go down PCP. If i go cash out right i get same as you were offered.

All car manufacturers are doing this as figures are down at the moment on finance.

I reduced my mileage too which brought the price down as I won't be doing 10k/yr in it.

Oh well. Never mind.  On a side note I see you're being completly normal and asking serious questions on Leaftalk!  Seems sooo out of character!  For some reason, I'm all logged on but it won't let me post either threads or even replies.  I have contacted to site to get these restrictions lifted but nothing as of yet.

Well, did you see that coming?  I think not......X2leaf

Don, what you mean exactly about X2leaf?? I've read your thread over on leaftalk,

I knew about the franchise being taken from Jackys place last week, I let James know, I thought I had let you know also?

For some reason my normal user name wouldn't allow me to post threads etc. so I reregistered hence X2leaf, 535dboy wanted to have me believe he had something to do with me being banned from the site.

As for the franchise going, I wasn't aware of this.  Funny enough someone has come on the Leaftalk site and said the same.  I do believe the agreement is with Nissan but will now be confirming.

Is this deal still available? Never had a car on finance etc, What happens after the two years finance? Do you just hand them back in?
Option 1, hand car back
Option 2, pay the remaining balance and the car is yours
Option 3, if there is a higer trade in value than what's outstanding you can use this amount as a deposit on a new car.

Don
Thanks for the reply, I will try and ring them later to see if there is any left

Mention my name and he will get me confused with somebody else!!!

So far, according to him, I've ordered red and my dad wants one. Neither of which are true!!!

Either my spelling/grammar is getting worse or this predictive text is worse than ever......I'm blaming predictive text.  I should learn to proof read my posts before posting.

Called Jackie a few weeks ago and was told to order after my test drive. Test drive yesterday and called in to make order only to be told it was now 1000 deposit 1000 delivery and 183pm regardless of mileage and number of cars ordered. Bit annoyed but hey Ho.
