Right checked the module and got the CORRECT PK code and paired in 10 seconds, the card with the code was from their old X5 apparently.

It was this seller on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-GENUINE-ULF-BLUETOOTH-UPDATED-MODULE-M3-M5-X3-X5-E53-E46-E39-E38-/151302188808?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item233a502f08 that has replacement latest units or can update ours.
