Electrics stay on with key removed, all dash lights & rear brake lights on
Re: Electrics stay on with key removed, all dash lights & rear brake lights on
I know I'm just replying to myself here but just in case it helps anyone else- I had a poke around and found a bit of a dodgy connection on the rear passenger side lamp and a but of contact cleaner and a small amount of jiggling of the wires saw the indicator back up and running and now the car is absolutely perfect. Very odd but seems to be resolved- if it reoccurs I guess I'll look at the tm unit but I think between cleaning the ignition switch and the loose wires that was the problem.

You're not replying to yourself (much) Any info and resolutions will probably help out many a person (whether they post to thank or not)
Either way someone has had a problem, and sure someone else will most probably have it again and will search for solutions so keep it up.
The conections in the rear lights are quite pants and do cause many issues.
Glad it was an easy fix for you.

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
