Well, picked her up this morning.

Drives beautifully and very smoothly. Gearbox had always seemed smooth before but its even more slick now, which is nice.

MOT passed with no advisories (after CV boot/driveshaft being sorted!)

One thing they mentioned is that the car seems "Too powerful" and they think it has been chipped at some point. I'm not fussed about masses of power so i'm going to get them to return it to standard.

MOT
Driveshaft/CV boot replacement
Gearbox service inc software updates
Diff service
Replace alarm switch under bonnet
Replace thermostat

Total cost was £1300

Painful but could have been worse.

Im curious to know what garages/Indy's other people use? I'm in Bexleyheath, Kent within the M25. I know a few have said how pricey this has been for me so I would happily investigate other recomended garages.

Im concerned about the quality of the tune and its effect on the drivetrain, turbo engine etc...

However...

My X5 does go like a stabbed rat and i've been thinking today that I would rather miss the power!  >:D
