No problem............Sorry just read my last post and it comes across as a little patronising - wasn't mean that way even if I did not take your response as you being deeply offended

Haha not the great Landyzone was it? The place was becoming really anarchic by the time I sold my Rangie, some stuff was so abusive.......For no apparent reason really. Pity as earlier experiences there were good and I acquired a wealth of info on the Rangie, managing to fix some of the quirkier electronic glitches without hassle or expense from that info.

Hi all
I haven't done any digging yet but how much roughly should an external paint job cost?
I've been quoted £550 for a full 3 stage detail but obviously there will be marks that even that won't budge so a blow over May be another way cost dependant...
Cheers

Can I ask who quoted you the £550 detail (and defines a 3 stage detail) - I might consider getting it done myself
Thanks Smee

Yup....that was the place. We had a freelander ( i know...not that good) but it was half decent in the snow if not thirsty and dead slow for 2 ltr diesel
I couldn't get ONE postive reply at all....no moderation and foul abuse. They seem to spend more time slagging each other off, especially someone who dared mod even a range rover like they did on wheeler dealers.
Lousy bunch
sorry...BOT

Hi Smee
It was world of detailing in Chatteris Cambridgeshire.
The blokes name is Andy.
It is only gonna be £550 because mine is in such poor shape( needs it for 5 days)!!!!
But It does include getting rid of all the tarnishing on the metal flashings around the doors and bringing the running boards back to new...
Check out his website as there is a variety of stages you can go for..

Would you not consider canvas wrapping? I got a quote from a local guy for the entire for £1k.
