Huge congrats on the new arrivals to be.

The M is a stunning motor to drive and power delivery is just epic.

Interested to know what would be classed as 'giving them away' LOL

To me the power delivery is the worst part about the car

I had a few gulp moments when I had one for a week when they were first launched as it caught me out. I was told it was better in the newer model but I'm not sure it was in the M6 I had for the day a couple of months back.

Interesting as I hadn't found that when I had a little play. Depends on what you are used to and what you are comparing against though to be fair.

Toy car has to be manual.

Work horse / cruiser can be auto but I would be bored if I had a nice car that is an auto ...

Just as well you don't have any nice cars then! :P

If I am honest I wish the porker was manual.

Well it's not really a proper automatic so you can be a little involved lol

Regarding the 1series winter wheels/tyres.
I have a set of 17" Y  spokes with 205 continetal winter tyres.

These were purchased for our 120d Msport, we are selling the car today 10 months old with 2,100 miles.

The winters have completed less than 500 miles so are as new and come complete with a new wheel trolley, they cost over £1,575 but I want £1,150.

The 17" is the correct replacement for the standard 225/245 18" Msport wheels.

If you are interested PM me.

Mark

Congratulations HOHOHO on your incoming vehicles, I absolutely adore the M5 I love how stealthy & understated they are...not to mention all that torque, look forward to the piccies when you get it.  :)

The pics will be of the front only as the back will have a tree shaped dent in the back where it has slid off the road backwards, hopefully not with me in it!

Ah, I was thinking an imprint of a flattened 535dboy would have been better  :))

I know what you mean PVR I love the fact my M3 is a manual but when I get in the TT, I lose interest in the Twin clutch gearbox & paddles pretty much straight away but the other half is doing 36k miles a year at the moment & I don't think I would fancy a manual at that mileage.

I only do 14k a year so a manual suits me nicely.
