Car still in at Bluebell (since last monday so nearly two weeks) with no obvious solution being presented to us yet.....
Initially they claimed they couldn't hear the noise so off to the dealer and I demonstrated it to a technician AGAIN who instantly said that he could hear it... ::)
Wife getting more and more frustrate with lack of communication and whilst she does have a courtesy vehicle she would prefer hers back!
Will keep you all posted...

How many miles has yours done? Did they have to keep the car awaiting repairs or could you have kept it awaiting parts?
Have you extended the warranty with BMW or anyone else?
Mine is going in on Wednesday for the 3 year check, done 31k miles. Looking at your list i will be pointing out some of the issues that you have identified but have not noticed any mechanical issues, just cosmetic.
Anyone have any other issues that may be typical?

Just 25,000 miles on ours.
Just extended the warranty with BMW for another year.
Good luck getting everything sorted...

Had inspection today and they replaced wheel centres without quible. Took photos of paint protection film issues near rear wheel arches and car booked back in again mid Dec. Fortunately nothing like Chris's issues so fingers crossed that they did not miss anything or that my ear for faults not as good!
Any negotiation on the warranty price or just fixed?
Your car back yet?

The warranty price came from BMW Insured Warranty and the only price option depended on how much excess I chose to take, or whether 'Emergency Service' was added. No excess was £1900, £100 excess was £800, £250 excess was £660.
Separately I had to renew the 'Connected' part and that is another £120.

Sorry, should have put that in. Yes that did. I left that option in and went for the £100 excess in the end.
It's costing me £80per month on going......

There was no negotiation on the warranty price as not controlled by the dealers anymore. Having said that we did receive £500 goodwill payment towards extending the warranty due to the issues and delays.
Car still in at the dealers..... Latest update is a new transfer box has been ordered from Germany as BMW Technical say this is the next avenue to take! Even though when the front diff was replaced it cured the noise for 600 miles so i'm puzzled why a new front diff would have cured a noise 'now' suspected to be coming from the transfer box :noexpression:
Been told not to expect it back for at least another 7-10 days....
