I'm not the blind chap from BMW
He can't find his phone
They do look alike, but the m sport does look way better than the SE
I like the RR,but its slow
I specked up the new RR on there web site
When I finished I thought Duck me
That's a expensive motor
And the back view not the best
Exhaust pipe look naff

Are there any more pics of the Sport anywhere?

The front end looks naff & far too busy & would look better in black as it'll hide all that crap. Fogs are just hideous in the bumper.    Looks a total Pigdog to me. I'm happy keeping my current Sept 11 E70  for a long time yet, if that's anything to go by.

Looking forward to the new RRS - although I despise the ignorant arrogant Land  Rover dealerships.  You have to speak to them like they treat you, ie ... a pig.

Here's a link to more MSport pics. The real life pictures shown on this post actually look better then than the BMW images released on their official website IMHO !. Have a look at the first 4 images of the white MSport on this link. It looks ok, but still cant get my head round the X3 bulbous rear and those front fog lights !

Thanks for the link.  Does look better than the SE & I'm sure it will sell well..... I won't be a customer though.  Front end is just full of holes.  New RRS is tempting after seeing this.  I'm really happy keeping my e70 for another coulple of years though.

Agree, definitely better than the previous pics but as mentioned, the fog light positioning is horrible.

I had a look a 3 series GT in the showroom the other day and whilst I quite liked it, it also just felt too similar.  I think I'll need to look at another manufacturer next time round.

It seems general consensus is that the BMW renderings/images released are not at all flattering and have people questioning the new styling. The photos of the white Msport on the link do look better than the BMW images, and it's growing on people slowly. Maybe in the flesh it looks even better? Surely BMW haven't got it that wrong and can see something we can't see in the images on the web !?

If I was BMW I'd be a little dissapointed with the way the new X5 has been received so far. Its not just here, but on other forums too where people have all said the same thing.

Quite a few people have said they will consider a different manufacturer when they next change their car and are starting to look at other brands. Styling wise Land Rover have got it in the bag these days compared to most other brands. Having said that LR are having a laugh with regards to their new pricing of the Sport and RR, crazy prices.

It almost seems BMW are trying too hard and have taken a great looking car and messed around with it too much and have created a very awkward looking e70 replacement with some nice touches, that just don't gel in one cohesive design.

It will be very interesting to see how journalists receive it, and to see how well it sells compared to the stiff competition from Land Rover etc.

It's not bad but it's not great either.  As someone who was massively disappointed by the new X3, an 'X3+' look was never going to rock my boat.

The m sport pics are a lot nicer than the se pics!!! I'm really starting to warm to it... To be fair.... It's taken me 10 years or so to finally get my hands on an E70.... Give it another 10 years and I may love the new style even more... If that's even possible!?!?! :)

I had a look at one at brands hatch last sunday, I thought it looked a bit bloated and the 20 inch wheels were lost in the arches. Lovely inside though.
