HOLY SHIT! I've just been told I can get up to £10,500 off a brand new X5 due to the announcement of the new X5 which IMHO looks very bland! So that's a £45k car for £35k which is near used money! It's getting harder to decide what to do now!

Yes but you haven't added the toys to this car yet.

Wait til July 1st and see what the new finance rate is and you could see one in on finance - 2.9% on the 1 Series and 0% currently on the 6 Series. Big discounts still apply.

Right now the X5 is 5.9%, see what it is in 4 weeks time and then make that choice.

£35k for a 'vanilla' model is good, but you really do need to add the toys......I think I added something like £15k to the price of my X6 in 2010.  Once you get into the catalogue it's like kids in a sweet shop.......

there will a load of cars in stock (i.e with options already chosen and built) - you may get some options "free" if you are prepared to take a car close to your spec rather than ordering a completely new one....

Good advice re the interest rate - that's surely got to come down - it was 2.9% when I bought 12 months ago.  Alternatively, find out what the monthlys would be if it were 2.9 and ask the dealer to match.

Carl at Snows in Portsmouth did me a great deal, knowing my local dealer wasn't acting quick enough.  Give him a buzz - create some competition.
