Does anyone noticed that E70 wheels are about 5 (five!!!!) kg heavier each, than E53 wheels? how is it going to affect my suspension?

More google searching showed they require a 'hub centric ring' to ensure proper fitting - the E53 X5 Has a wheel centre bore of 72.5mm or so with the E70 X5 having a bore of 74.1mm - not a big difference and it would appear some people have fitted the wheels and are quite happy with them. Loads of people on ebay supply the 'hub centric rings' = 8 quid for the 4 so have ordered these just to be 100%
I was originally told there was no problem fitting an E70 made wheel (style 177) onto an E53.
However much later at a garage when preparing to do a wheel alignment and balancing (after repairing the front right ball bearing), they noticed the wheels were vibrating too much to carry out the work. Hence now in the process of getting some centre rings.
Wonder if there is anyone out there who has managed to use an E70 wheel onto an E53 without any problems?

one more Q: the pressures for RFT are the same as for the normal tyres?

I am still keeping my RFT on 2.2 bars.
Is this good?
