You can get an idea of how bright they actually are in the 2nd picture its daytime and can be spotted easily from far.....

The only thing i can assume is that the other chap may have thought they had 10w cree LED angel eyes, when in fact they may have been something else. As mentioned i use these all the time and can say for a fact they are brighter.

I was watching these ones:

That was untill I read this topic. Might hold out for 10w now though!

Well I currently have two working bulbs but one old style resistor which tend to fail and another new style with the wrong connectors to fit the bulb.  Seller expected me to pay for new resistors even though they failed very quickly.  Then asked me to return both for upgraded ones which I did.  He send me one in return which did not fit then eventually sent me a battered second one which was of the non-upgraded type.  Basically avoid VIP trading.

At some stage I should try and get hold of two resistors to fit but am fed up with it really.

These are the ones i currently have fitted, and to be honest they are ok.  They look great at dusk but daytime not as good......they are however visible, but not all that noticeable.
The 10w ones arrived today......will let you all know how i get on.

you will be fine. Bought many of those before. (for different cars)
Just ensure the black connections are nice and tight on those. You'll know once you see the connectors. Sometimes they can be a little loose. Apart from that all good.
[/quote]

How is the best way to make the connectors tight......I see what you mean....they are very loose.
