You are the man. So I gave all the dealers listed and some my silly expectations if they wanted my money, almost all said no way keep dreaming however Terry at Elms Cambridge said come on down and bring your credit card.
All done one shiny new 123d convert ordered

Good news Jig, maybe a couple of weeks to get to Thorne, a few days there then to the dealer. A few more days to go through PDI + valet.
Early May I guess.
You'll love it :drive:

That would be sweet initially they said end of May so early would be real good.

Not unusual to over quote delivery, makes the customer feel good if it turns up early
What colour combo did you go for?

Carbon Black with Black leather blue stitching. Actually I wanted the red but not an option on the M Sport plus model they made this black/blue stitching exclusively for the sport plus. Was tempted by Oyster but just too bright for my liking everyday, I prefer to be dull
besides none of the restrictive interior trims actually went with Oyster.

Sport + spec is nice, black with blue stitching very smart. Oh was very tempted by a Le Mans/black 3er sport + before settling with the 1 she got. Look forward t a few pics as and when

Probably 1,200 miles of not exceeding 3,000 rpm, no use of lead throttle and avoid kick down (for auto cars), then you're off......steady increase of rpm over the next several hundred miles. I think the X6 also said not to exceed 100mph!! Obviously written for the autobahn brigade.
If I may, I would suggest an oil and filter change at 1,200 miles too. A bit old school I know, but it's better than having swarf etc on the loose in the engine for 20,000 miles!
All our BMWs have had that done, as have all my other cars from new - or even after I've bought them second hand.
