Missed this one, Lee, sorry. The colour is the BEST (not that I'm biased of course) and I must say I love the sound of mine as well - never get tired of the V8 burble.....

Mine is at the dealers today having a few minor niggles sorted (have had mine 3 months now, an AUC, 05 plate, only 27K miles (now 33)) and the dealership screwed up royally with the courtesy car booking so I've ended up with the Dealer Principals M-series coupe for the day :) a 60-plate with 5000 miles on the clock, in white, its quite nippy :) but I still prefer the X!!! Quite a few 4.8 owners on here now, almost enough for a 4.8 subforum like the Outpost has :)

Happy motoring in your 4.8.
Hi condorX5, hope all is going well with your niggles at the dealer.

They are awesome cars,i cant believe how such a big heavy car can put such a smile on your face!!

I love the spec of yours...i would have loved rear seat heating & it seems the US market specced 4.8is are far more well equipped than the uk according to a brochure i have.

Sometimes wish it would do more to the gallon currently on 21.4!! but you cant have it both ways cos i love the v8s.

Cheers for the reply.

Lee.

My 4.8 is local, Lee, I just got lucky with the spec and prob paid a bit over the odds at Hexagon for it!! I love the extras - to be honest I needed the towbar, so was delighted to find one that ticked so many boxes, and the Aux Heating is superb at this time of year.

The niggles are just that - a nuisance - I got the car back yesterday (they kept it all day) and they have fixed....wait for it.....NOTHING!!!
"Hello Madam" says he proudly, "we have DIAGNOSED your car!!! Now we need to book it in again for the warranty work to be done. We have found a Faulty Parking sensor / faulty key fob and faulty bluetooth kit!!!"

Me: Well yes, I TYPED THAT OUT VERY CAREFULLY, IN THAT ORDER, AND GAVE YOU THE LIST!!!!! So what took the entire day to DIAGNOSE???given that you were TOLD what wasn't working?????

So frustrating, but we'll get there in the end.

It's a great performer though - I will link pics from my phone of my fuel consumption on a looooong country trip yesterday as soon as I download them from the phone: 30.3MPG!!!!
Enjoy your mean machine and don't forget the pics!!
