Reading this thread, I'm getting impatient and I've already got my car! 

When you get it, we can perhaps arrange a mini-NW meet?  I'm assuming you're near me as you spotted my car in John Lewis.

As I suggested in my earlier post, the dealer would have been doing well to get your X6 for the end of the month. Given that its still in America, I would say there little/ no chance of that happening now. It takes around 9-12 days for the carships to cross the Atlantic. You then have clearence at Southampton, transport from Southampton to Thorne. The X's are then striped of transportation covers, given a check over book packs are added and then allocated to the transport companies for delivery to the dealers. Given that every dealer in the country will be trying to hit the March targets, transports are strected to the max towards the end of the month.

Yup and being an X the will automatically assume drugs are involved somewhere and impound it.

3rd post down on this thread gives you the links to identify the ship you are on and you can then follow your car as long as the transporter ship is within 200 miles of the coast......

MV Mignon is due to leave Charleston today....arrives Soton on the 31st.  UK Cars clear Customs in Bremerhaven so it goes there first.
