It has crossed my mind and a fibre-glass mould would be REAL easy as this is made from the same plastic as the arches, bumper moulding, etc. Of course, BMW lawyers will be all over me like a rash...
I got lucky and found it on eBay (UK based one) and the previous owner had done all the imported and getting stung on the tax and delivery!

I know how you feel pewters......... hours i spent slaving on that sub box mate...hours....days even ........and no not even a call mate i even had to hear it from you ...the least he could have done was offer it to me first you know what i mean mate ...i'ts just all me me me with him in it
