i hate to even look at it. if i ever worry about it i won't get to enjoy teh car!
if i ever enjoy the car and 'happen' to see it its stuck on the left making me feel sorry for even noticing it!

One thing i am grateful about is that my 4.6is has a oil temp gauge instead of the wobbly needle. I like the red line lights on the is as well.

It must take its feed from somewhere, maybe a vacuum transducer on the intake manifold, it maybe easy to disconnect it. I quite like it, i thought it was a novelty in the E30 325i I had years ago. I don't even notice it now.

its an oil temp guage on the m3 i had as well, even the e30s have the mpg so at least 26 years old!

Yup should be oil temp gauge.
So difficult to get any real use out of it.
