Hi all.

Sorry I haven't replied for so long but my partner has done her back in and has been in bed ever since. She did it a day after collecting her X5 so she gutted. My time is now spent juggling the kids, looking after my partner and work and its proving a bit of a challenge. I will probably sign in tomorrow and do a proper reply. Thanks for all your messages by the way.

Steve

PS. The Jag is great and I will tell you more about soon!

Thanks for the replies, even the funny ones  ;)

The misses is a bit better so she may be driving the X5 again sometime soon but I will have to drive it until then. It's a hard life lol.

As for the Jag, I was originally going to get another 5 series, but I was not very keen on the looks although it does drive well, so I decided to go for something different. I test drove a Jag XFS and the rest is history.  The car is an XFS Portfolio 3.0 diesel and I went for a couple of options like rear camera and blind spot monitor.  The car is pretty rapid (275ps) and drives/handles very well. The only criticism is the infotainment system isn't as easy to use as the idrive in the X5 (prefer the idrive controller rather than a touch screen.)

With all that metal on the driveway, I was thinking of installing a camera to watch over them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Steve

Glad wifey is on the mend. It is very gutting to have a new motor and not then be able to drive it.
