Having been involved in testing the 'radio' type a few years back, the output and conclusion from my report was that they were in the same family of products as Snake Oil.......
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.-

this is what i was talking about,
I think i would personally go for the salt filter.
I have one of these on my pipes but i still get lots of limscale
not sure what that is.. check this out. i've seen recommendations..
