Yep, that's taking the price difference into account. To put it another way, £49 fills the gas tank and I'm getting just under 300 miles to a tank doing a 48 mile round trip to Belfast everyday all on motorways doing about 50/60mph.
Had never really considered gas before, but I'm converted now. Already looking at an LPG'd 745i for next year

Well beets my 380-420 miles to a full tank, at £120 plus.
May look in to this now, am right in thinking you still have to run or start up on petrol, and switch when warmed up. Is this automatic or do you switch it manually.

on my 4.4 with lpg, with lpg selected, it starts on petrol and as soon as engine reaches a certain temp switches over to lpg automatically, when lpg runs out, manual swichover via a rocker switch to petrol.
Then run on petrol till fillup with lpg and switch back to lpg mode.
Had mine converted 6 years ago.

Well did a tad of researching via google, went on a LPG savings calculator.
Came back saying it would take 17 months to pay for the cost of LPG, unsure of the cost of gas now but I put in 80p a litre.
Would also cost around 2k for a good system, having 90k on the clock now and only going to keep for a max of 3 yrs not sure if its worth the out lay.

surely the £2k saving in the last 18 months is attractive? I would also expect the resale value to be better if already fitted with a decent LPG system. Just my thoughts on the subject.

Not sure what you have, but if its a V8 it will be a lot easier selling it if it has been converted. Would guess that it would be a private buyer at those miles who probably would be put off at 20 mpg on petrol. Plus no congestion charges in London 9 (I think)

Just got the 3.0i but knowing what I know now I would have got the V8.
Yes 2k saving is attractive but less then £30 a week don't look so good, will looking to this more.
