just had update of garage they have had 2 garage come to my x5 with lat-tops etc opened up valves and they still have no rear brakes this is a joke, i don't know what to do they wont let it out as failed mot and with no brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just had update from garage they got 2 other garage's to come look at my x5 with there lap-tops etc they say they got valves open to bleed but got no brakes still, i give up its a joke, they wont let me take x5 from there because it failed mot and because the brakes are not safe.

Raj who is Jason @bw cant i get hold of him on phone or get garage to ring him ,maybe they could call him out and pay him to do the job!!!!!!!!!!

now the garage are saying i need a new master brake cylinderas they still can't get rear brakes going

Hi mate i have been told you can help with this problems, my x5 failed they mot because it had rusted brake pipes , so garage change them for me and now it has no rear brakes, they were told it need lap-top to open abs valves so they can bleed brakes , they say they have done this but still no brakes on rear they are saying now it needs a new master brake cylinder ,i think its a joke they have been trying to bleed it for 2 days costing loads now they say this, can you help PLEASE ASAP can i get them to ring you to sort this matter as i have been told your the man for the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE,PLEASE.

Tell em that's bollox, print off the instructions X5Sport has linked to and gell them to follow that or pay for your guy (Jason, if he's near you) to come out.

They're taking the pi$$ and clutching at straws now.

No probs but you already have a thread running on this topic, no need really.

But understand you are seriously stressed at the mo.  :)

Instruct them not to do anymore work and clarify where they stand with the bill, so far. That may help you relax a bit.

Then give them the instructions and explain that you are trying to help not patronise.
