I bought these for the M number plates, a bit brighter than the ones from the link in this thread.

They are fine for that, but as they are bigger than the normal 501 bulbs, not sure if they fit in the mirror?

They will be too long me thinks. Even the ones I linked to (I think) will be slightly longer than a standard 501 but should be ok.

I can't remember the structure of the light bulbs, i.e. if they fitted into a housing inside the mirror or not.

LOL some of us have to work for a living you know....

Will check this evening when I get home.

But from memory, the bulb does sit in a housing so there will be a level of restriction on length....oe'er missus...

I used these ones. They work fine but not that bright.

Took the mirror cover off to have a quick peak. Quite a bit of room and indeed a nice holder to house the bulb in so the ones I linked should be all cool and plenty bright.

£5.98?? you ordered 4 bulbs then, 2 for the puddle lights, where are you planning on fitting the other 2 out of interest?
