Many Thanks, I actually just realised they're 17's running 235 tyres so should be hopefully even better than I first thought lol

Are they on the car already or are they the winters you've bought? If not on the car, I presume that the 17s will provide enough room for the front discs? I would have thought they would but may be worth checking. I was told that 18s were the limit on my 40d.

Standard issue, I had them on my E53 when I bought that new.
