For the active cruise control there's a square within the mesh below the bumper where the holes have been infilled (i presume the radar is behind it) so assuming a new mesh is required then this feature will need to be carried over to the new one.

did the spec check , spoke to dealer and they use a system which auto generates some of the spec.  I do have the 5 year maintance pack on it

judging from the spec can i tell if the car has self leveling rear? i want to order the springs but not sure if it has it or not.  I did phone the dealer but after 4 mins explaining I knew it was a lost cause!

The X5 comes with self levelling rear air suspension as standard. Would therefore have thought the X6 would too...

No air springs on the X6 unless option S220A (£590 in 2010) specified.  Default is for coil springs and dampers.  It's not listed on your spec, which I would have expected it to be if fitted as that's what appears to be the 'options' spec sheet.  Ask them to look for that code, or give you the last 7, in which you can check on line.

The X6 is about performance and agility rather than comfort.......at least that's what the Salesman told me......

Thanks for putting me right. I thought they were identical mechanically apart from the cornering diff.

cheers richard i think i have springs at the rear as I cant see that option on my spec list (i used the link that you posted up)

looks like i'll order a set of eibach lowering springs
