May I suggest BUBBLE WRAP.....good for thousands of prangs. May offer limited roll over protection too

Door Protection Stips

Post by Rusty » Mon Oct 08, 2012 11:25 pm

My father in law had a similar issue Sanj.

The solution we came up with was a cut down piece of oak flooring (brother in law just had his entrance re-floored) screwed to the wall using nice brass countersunk screws.  The wood is protected with a sealant so will last for years, environmentally friendly as its a natural and recycled product, soft enough to not damage the door but hard enough not to dent every time he knocks it, and the timber is a similar colour to the house bricks so it is not obtrusive.

Just a thought :)

You mean a sloping drive so that it comes out over the brick wall?  :))

use your window man! why are you even bothering with door handles??? in fact i think you should weld the doors shut althogether and make a General X5. this way your doors and door handles will stay pristine!

i have a great image in my head of you jumping in and out... with a lot of struggle of course!

Mate, have you tried googling the different "Car Door Protectors" there are? May give you some ideas. Not all look tacky. Check these, good luck. Like the second one down - carbon style on your grey X?

These are just on Ebay. And this one is just funny.
