Hi all
Just read a post on Xoutpost (e53 ) regarding the clunk/ violent downchange when stopping.
A guy said he was advised to fit an oil cooler to the gearbox, he did this and eliminated the problem. His problem was only evident when the oil was over a certain temperature, and never did it when it was cold originally.
I havnt had the problem myself and only thought it was on the 5 speed box, until I read this post and saw that an 05 was affected
