If it was made after mid 2003 then it is a facelift model. Yours is an '05 so defo in the 'facelift block'. Easy ways to tell from the outside are clear headlight assemblies (no yellow) with projector lights. More detailed checks are 6-speed gearbox, 218bhp engine instead of 186 and should be 2993cc instead of 2987cc (I think).

Yep it's a e53 facelift model , the headlights give it away
